Enjoy the Game
Le Bistro’s small but selective menu focuses on exotic game, fresh produce, and delicately prepared sauces. Get ready for an exciting culinary adventure. Each dish arrives out of the finicky kitchen resembling mini masterpieces. On the apps menu, discover prociutto wrapped cantaloupe with balsamic vinaigrette, and seared jump diver scallops with roasted pepper coulis. For the most flavouful steamed mussels around, you’ve found the right place. Mussels get tasty with your choice of broths, including ginger-chardonnay-tomato basil and pernod-cilantro-ginger. C’est tres bon!
C’est la Vie!
The faint of heart should look elsewhere. Le Bistro’s mouthwatering entrees feature exotic finds you’ll want to sink your teeth into. Discover tender calf’s liver with onions and bacon, and warm duck legs served with frites. The Fraser Valley rabbit stewed in a white wine and mild Dijon sauce is divine. Regulars adore the tasty free range chicken marinated in red wine, and the NY steak topped with blue cheese and sautéed mushrooms. Homemade crepes filled with tender chicken or veggies shouldn’t be overlooked. Nor should the penne cooked in a delicately prepared parmesan cream sauce. For a sweet ending, savour cabernet poached pear served with pear brandy and vanilla ice cream.
