Kid’s Help Phone is there when you need some good solid advice. Give them a call anytime. The service operates 24-hours a day. Counselors can help solve problems. The service is anonymous and confidential. They do not use call display and they do not trace calls. If you need to call, you won’t have to reveal your name and won’t have to talk about anything that you are not ready to discuss.
A better future
Kid’s Help Phone can’t change the past, but counsellors can help you plan for a better future. Once they have an idea of what kind of issue the caller is dealing with, the counsellors can provide timely advice. Kid’s Help Phone can provide accurate information. The counselor may suggest a number of things that can help improve your situation. Sometimes all it takes is someone who can provide a different point of view. No matter what your problem is Kid’s Help Phone is there to talk. It doesn’t matter how big or small a problem and there is no need to feel embarrassed. A nice talk with someone can do wonders.
Thousands of volunteers
More than 10,000 volunteers across Canada keep Kid’s Help Phone operating. Close to 2,000 volunteers are Student Ambassadors. Kid’s Help Phone does encourage people to help out. Fundraising events are a lot of fun. They include bowlathons and the Bell Walk for Kids. The organization welcomes donations from volunteers, companies and organizations to keep things operating.
