The inaugural Keg Restaurant first seared its tasty cuts in North Vancouver in 1971. The concept of this world famous chain was created by Vancouver entrepreneur George Tidball who had previously built the first McDonald's restaurant in Canada and established Golden Arches through the Western provinces.
