Since opening its doors in 2004, Kefi Greek Kouzine has created a following among foodies and locals with their mouthwatering dishes. This family-style restaurant creates dishes from scratch using fresh ingredients from their own garden.
Everything from the West Coast décor to the attentive staff to the delectable dishes screams quality. On the menu discover feta cheese and kalamata olives drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, and the most tender grilled baby octopus around. Homemade dips served with hot pita bread are perfect to share. Try the tzatziki made with fresh yogurt, homegrown cucumber and fresh garlic, or the tirosalata, a blend of spicy roasted red peppers and whipped feta.
A Sweet Ending
Hearty appetites adore Kefi’s delicious souvlaki dinners served with large portions of Greek salad, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, tzatziki and pita bread. Choose from wild BC salmon, tiger prawns or more traditional favourites like chicken, lamb or beef.
You must also try the roast lamb. This signature dish features Dijon and oregano crust New Zealand lamb served with Greek-style risotto. Kefi’s menu also features homemade pastas and fresh fish dishes such as the grilled halibut in a light dill cream and ouzo reduction. If there is room for dessert, you’re in luck. Kefi’s chocolate raspberry truffle loaf is out of this world.
