First established in 1979 in Denmark, JYSK has expanded to 28 countries with its passion for Scandinavian design, applied to products from furniture to accessories, including mattresses, bedding and outdoor products. The first store in Canada opened in 1996 in Coquitlam, BC and gradually expanded across the country, as customers became more familiar with the store’s proper pronunciation, “yi-sk”.

Full House
JYSK has departments covering every room in the house. Bed linens include sheet sets, flat and fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, blankets and bedskirts. The store carries natural or synthetic duvets and pillows, feather beds, mattress pads and toppers, health pillows, cushion inserts and other bedroom items. For the bathroom, there are guest and bath towels, bath sheets, shower curtains, bathmats, facecloths and gloves and other accessories. Featured housewares include candles, beauty products, napkins and tea towels, doormats, frames, pet items, office supplies and furnishings made of rattan and seagrass.

Furniture by JYSK ranges from wardrobes, dressers and nightstands to beds, sofas and living chairs to TV stands, coffee tables and buffets, plus everything for the kitchen, home office and children’s rooms, along with complete futons and foam mattresses. Fabric and linen is also available for drapery panels, window binds, rods and accessories, chair pads, deco cushions and cushion covers.
