The baby’s lounge is filled with fashionable décor and much play space for the little ones. For moms, there is a special area dedicated for breastfeeding on comfy furniture.
Baby merchandise and gifts
The items at jack & lola’s cover the gamut with a focus on locally made and environmentally responsible merchandise. Find car seats and strollers, BPA-free bottles and diapers, and clothing that will make any child a fashionista. Shopping is comfortable, as aisles are wide enough to fit even double strollers. Older kids can be treated to natural toys, organic linens and name brands that are known all over the world (and some specific to Vancouver). Just ask the staff for gift ideas if you aren’t sure what you’re looking for.
The store that jack & lola inhabits was once a popular nightclub, a fact many of the local parents know firsthand. The exterior of the building hasn’t been changed much (look carefully for the storefront), but the inside is a wash of unique products and a welcoming environment. Free parking is available beside the store and, for expecting parents, they can make a wish list so gifts can be chosen to your specifications.
