This 286-bed hostel is the biggest in Canada. It provides the prudent traveller with the basics like beds, linens, baths, security, transportation and Internet access. The largest hostel in the country offers accommodations near one of Vancouver's most scenic beaches. Point Grey's Jericho Beach is a beach lover's paradise. Tidal pools form during low tide. Eagles fly by from time to time along with seagulls and herons. Dirt trails and picnic areas. And these sights are just minutes from downtown.
Shared and Private Accommodations
No need to pack bed sheets and towels, as linens are provided free and towels can be rented. Shared bathrooms adjoin the male, female and co-ed dormitories. For more privacy, reserve ahead for a room with private bath. (The 286-bed guesthouse has 10 private rooms, three with private baths.)
Sunsets Are Free
Discover Vancouver on a rental bike, shuttle service or with a tour group organized by the hostel. Afterwards, brag to your friends how beautiful the city is via e-mail at the Internet kiosk. End the day with delicious canteen cuisine from the cafeteria. They also have a licensed café onsite, a large community kitchen, laundry facilities and well being on the beach – you’ve always got the sunsets.
