The Heffel Gallery specializes in fine art by European and Canadian artists such as B.C. Binning, Lawren Harris, and Alex Colville. Displayed work is rotated on a regular basis, so there's always something new to see.
Going Once, Going Twice...
In addition to the day-to-day operations of the gallery, works are also sold through two live auction events. Held bi-annually, in May and November, these events feature the sale of many fine works of Canadian, American and European art and photography.
Beyond the Gallery Walls
The gallery experience is not restricted to the physical confines of the Granville Street address, however. Despite the fact it is housed in a heritage building (formerly a branch of the Royal Bank of Canada), the Heffel utilizes the most up-to-date computer technology to better serve its expanding clientele. Now it's possible to bid online during the gallery's two annual auctions. When auctions are not in progress, the gallery's website provides auction previews as well as other gallery-related information.
