Serious Business...
Now owned by Woodbine Entertainment Group, Hastings Park Raceway stands as the third of three horseracing venues, in addition to Woodbine Racetrack in suburban Toronto and Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, Ontario. Woodbine Entertainment Group is by far the largest operator of horse racing in the country accounting for more than 50 per cent of all wagering on horse racing in Canada!

...Serious Fun.
There's little doubt that an afternoon at the track is an exciting and unique entertainment experience. From the moment you walk through the door you can feel the excitement that only thoroughbred horse racing can offer.

Feeling Lucky?
Most race days fall on Saturdays and Sundays. The first horses ease into the gate at approximately 1:20 p.m. and run at regular intervals until the early evening. Along with the scheduled races there are often special events posted on their website. Plus, for those looking for a change of pace at the end of busy workweek, there is the occasional race card slotted for Friday nights.

Ahead by a Nose.
The best part is that general admission into the racecourse grounds is free and you can bet as much and as often as you like. Those with a little more "invested" in the sport can book VIP box seats and, of course, Hastings Racecourse offers a variety of "all inclusive plans" for groups of 20 or more. There is also a full array of dining options from a casual barbeque to a fine dining experience in their Silks Restaurant. So you can make a evening out of a day at the races. Good luck, and see you at the gate!
