Rustic, Stylish Surroundings
With its terracotta rag-painted walls, distressed hardwood floors and funky art, Grindstone has a downtown, rustic feel. Exposed piping and old-fashioned water heaters painted silver add an industrial vibe that’s fitting in the design district. All of the food is homemade in a tiny, spick and span kitchen that’s right out in the open, so you can watch all the action. The café is small, with only space for about 20 on leather benches and wood chairs at round tables, and it gets packed at lunchtime.
Espresso Yourself
Victoria residents love their coffee and Grindstone delivers consistently fresh roast, fresh grind and fresh brew. Coffee by local roaster Peaks Coffee is served in many forms to suit your preference. From simple Americanos to caramel macchiatos and everything in between, you’ll surely be able to espresso yourself! There’s a complete line of syrups if you feel like something a little different, and soy milk is also available. Have your coffee on ice or enjoy an organic soda when it’s hot out!
Fancy Café Fare

The lunch experts prepare a range of soups, salads, grilled sandwiches and wraps using local, organic ingredients whenever possible and only free range chicken and turkey.
