A Place for Everyone
The Green Goddess Cafe opened on May 26, 2008, in the popular Fernwood area of Victoria. The café is located in Fernwood Square which is also home to the popular Belfry Theatre. This full service restaurant offers raw, vegan, and protein rich food to cater to any diner’s taste. Dine inside to take in the local art that dresses the walls, or, in good weather, have your meal on the sidewalk patio. Enjoy live music on certain days, which is generally the soft and soothing sounds of a solo guitarist and vocalist.

A Variety of Delectable Healthy Selections
If you arrive before noon, try a healthy breakfast consisting of free range eggs, plus vegan mock bacon or sausage, or a selection of organic cereals such as Nature’s Path Banana-Flax-Almond. For lunch and dinner, there are many raw and vegan options to please any palate. Try the Cucumberoni pizza, made with a flax crust with a seed-based pate, and topped with cheese, cucumber, grated carrot and delicious sunflower sprouts. The Organic Orange Delight salad is sure to appeal, with a combination of spinach, oranges, chrysanthemum petals, raisins, coconut, walnuts, grated carrot and sunflower sprouts served with a creamy yogurt dressing. If you happen to be a meat or fish lover, there is the salmon or chicken burger or a variety of sandwiches on the menu, as well.

The Green Fairy lives at the Green Goddess
Since the Green Goddess Café is fully licensed, you can enjoy a variety of beers, ciders, shots, cocktails or liquors during the afternoon or evening. Try the official house drink of the Green Goddess Café - Absinthe - also known as the Green Fairy. This very special green drink has a high alcohol content and is made with a blend of herbs including anise, licorice, hyssop, fennel and wormwood. For non-alcoholic beverages, choose from a variety of coffees, teas, juices, smoothies, soft drinks and juices.
