Located in Granville Island’s public market, the Gourmet Wok is a great place for a satisfying meal. Take your meal to go and sit at one of the outdoor tables overlooking the water, or enjoy the hustle and bustle of the market inside. If you’re in luck, a busker will be by your table to offer some entertainment.

Traditional dishes
From wonton soup to Chinese-style breakfast with congee and chow mein, the Gourmet Wok offers a host of traditional dishes. The selection of soups is superb with your choice of hot and sour, chicken noodle, seafood and more. The spring rolls are fresh and crunchy, the dumplings are moist and Shanghai noodles are the real thing. The cooks use vegetable oil and only the freshest ingredients without MSG.

Special combos
The Gourmet Wok has several steamy dishes on display in the front window tempting diners. If you can’t decide between sweet and sour pork, curry chicken or dry garlic fish, you can opt for the three-item special with rice or noodles. Other combos are also available and offer great value.
