Goldilocks Bake Shop is known for its Filipino-inspired baked goods and has been tantalizing taste buds with scrumptious treats since the mid-80s. They currently only have the one retail store in Vancouver, though there are plans in the works to open a new location on Main Street, to keep up with the demands of supplying Goldilocks food products to Asian stores across the country. Sweet Servings
A wide offering of specialty cakes for any number of occasions makes Goldilocks a popular choice year round. Their premium cakes include such delicacies as mocha choco crunch, peaches and cream, crema du fruita or the halo halo cake with garbanzo beans. Their party cakes are available on-demand or per request, as are the wedding cakes, which come in many-tiered shapes and multi-columned sizes – a seemingly endless array of ribbons and pedestals and fondant colours. Their ample sweet shop is rounded out with breads, cookies, brazo and rolls and even banana chips.
On the Saltier Side
Not just a bakery, Goldilocks also boasts a lengthy menu of traditional Filipino and North American food. Dinuguan, miki bihon, mami and lumpia have become some of the favourites among regulars. Empanadas and meat-filled pastries and buns are popular for a lighter snack, or opt for jumbo bowls of soup or hefty servings of pork, chicken and seafood dishes, all artfully presented.
