Relaxing seaside atmosphere
Located away from the hustle and bustle on Granville Island, this quaint café offers a quiet escape. Walk along the boardwalk and look for the boat Relief, which marks the entrance of the café right under the Granville Bridge. There are a few seats outside, offering a glimpse of the boats in the harbour. Inside, the vibe is Zen, thanks to the water fountain, live plants and comfortable seating.
Homemade gelato
If you’re strolling around Granville Island on a sunny day and need a cool, refreshing treat, Gi Gelato is the place to go. As soon as you walk in, you’ll be met with a case full of gelato and sorbetto. All of the ice cream is made fresh on-site and unique flavours such as Halloween Pumpkin are added on special occasions. There’s a range of sizes, and large orders are welcome!
Tasty lunches and premium beverages
Gi Gelato offers a range of tasty lunch items, such as wild salmon chowder, paninis and wraps. Everything is homemade and there are great daily specials. If you have a sweet tooth, there’s a wide variety of desserts. The café boasts fancy hot beverages like raspberry lattes, café mandarino, apple cider and fine teas. The café also makes its own ginger ale.
