Big Country Golf
The course sits on a big chunk of property, one that includes flatlands and big hills, and the layout make best advantage of the two tiers, with some holes working their way up and others, like the par four home hole, that follow along the edge of the cliff on their approach. If your drive goes left, time to tee up another one. Oval shaped greens look big and wide from the fairway, making the abundance of long shots all the more disappointing. And there's no shortage of sand in front, so just put it pin high.

Weddings and More
The recently expanded clubhouse is seriously into the wedding and banquet scene. With three function rooms – the Thompson, Douglas and MacKenzie Rooms – it can accommodate a maximum of 225 guests.

The Easiest Way
From Vancouver, take Hwy 1 out to the 200th St exit (58 North). Head north until you hit 96th Avenue, then go right (east) all the way, for 5.2 km, then turn left onto McKinnon Crescent and take a right for the clubhouse. If you're really adventurous, you can get there via the Albion Ferry, but you're on your own.
