Irish Atmosphere
Why is it, you might ask, no matter where in the world you travel, you can always count on there being an Irish Pub somewhere nearby? If one thing’s for sure, it’s that when it comes to pubs, the Irish know what they’re doing. The drink’s always good, the food’s always good, but best of all is the atmosphere. At the ‘Foggy Dew’ they have some of Ireland’s finest exports on tap, which they serve in 20-ounce pint glasses, as well as a large selection of spirits. The food menus at both locations offer a truly comprehensive selection of traditional Irish cuisine, as well as plenty of international dishes to suit the most cosmopolitan of diners. We’re talking Brick Oven Pizzas, Pastas and Stir-fry’s, Entrees (like the 10oz New York Steak and the Teriyaki Salmon), Burgers, Sandwiches and Desserts. Monday is Wing Day, so from 11:30am to midnight, wings are on special.

Live music and dancing are, of course, two of the other vital elements of a good atmosphere, and both the Coquitlam & Richmond managers are aware of it. That’s why, on Friday and Saturday nights, whichever of the two locations you find yourself in, you’ll have a hard time sitting still, with bands strumming out a mix Top 40 hits, great classics and originals. It’s probably a good idea to leave the car at home.
