Hanging
Hang with the largest population of Killer Whales in the world with a tour from Five Star Charters Whale Watching and Nature Tours. The purpose-built cruisers and catamarans of Five Star ply the waters surrounding Southern Vancouver Island, Victoria, and the Gulf Islands - home to three pods of whales with a population of approximately 90.

Touring
The three-hour whale watching tours run April to October. Resident Killer Whales spend much of their time feeding on the large salmon populations migrating through the area to their spawning grounds. The 12-passenger cruisers and 40-passenger Supercat tour twice daily.

More Touring
Five Star's two-hour Wildlife Tours run October through April, when the whales are out of the area. You'll see Stellar and California Sea Lions, Elephant and Harbour Seals. They're all a bunch of hams, though, as they enjoy entertaining the humans. You'll also see birds galore, from Bald Eagles to Harlequin Ducks.
