Casual Dining in the Park
Located in the park, the Fish House wants guests to feel comfortable coming in dressed up or in shorts and a t-shirt. The earthy tones, exposed red brick and deep greens around the dining room help to create that casual atmosphere. Feature paintings from a number of local artists on the walls help add a touch of unique class. A new local artist is featured every four months making the Fish House a dynamic space to dine and muse.
Daily Fresh Sheet
Executive Chef Karen Barnaby puts together a new fresh sheet every day featuring as many as 15 Ocean Wise acceptable fresh fish entrees. The Ocean Wise program helps to ensure a sustainable ecosystem by making sure restaurants don’t serve extinct seafood and fish. You’ll also find great salads and a number of other simple grilled fish items available as well. Fully licensed, the Fish House also offers a wide variety of quality wines. The fairly extensive wine list won the Gold Medal at the Vancouver Playhouse Wine Festival in 2007 and the staff at the restaurant is always ready with a suitable bottle suggestion.
