Profile
A Long-time Favourite
There’s a reason why Felico’s has been in business for more than 25 years: authentic Greek cooking, generous servings, and value for money. Since opening in 1984 as the only Greek restaurant in Richmond, it has attracted and kept a loyal clientele. Many ingredients are made in-house, based on family recipes that have been passed on from generation to generation. Business has been so good the restaurant underwent a massive renovation in 2008, adding polish and elegance for a truly memorable dining experience.
Sophisticated Dining
Felico’s has taken traditional Greek restaurant décor — white plaster walls, rustic pottery, travel posters of white villages perched above an azure sea — several notches higher, creating an upscale, modern space in muted colours and sexy mood lighting. Have a drink at the bar/lounge area or catch up on sports scores on one of the two flat-screen TVs. With room for 140 indoors and another 25 on the heated patio, as well as a main dining rom and three private areas, Felico’s is a great place for a romantic dinner, family reunion, or corporate function.
Big, Fat Greek Dishes
Felico’s serves authentic Greek dishes, inspired largely by family recipes from the sun-drenched island of Cyprus. Some of the restaurant’s trademark dishes include roasted lamb, lightly-battered calamari, kleftico, dolmathes and Feta Kota, a baked chicken dish garnished with spinach and feta cheese. Felico’s is licensed, so enjoy a shot or two of ouzo, or order the restaurant’s signature drink: the Big, Fat Greek Martini, made with a blend of vodka, lemon, and lime, triple sec and blue curacao.
