True romance
Nestled in the heart of Vancouver's Little Italy, Federico's Supper Club does what Italians do best: food and romance. The décor is candlelit and elegant. The dining is fine, traditional Italian fare using only high quality ingredients. Antipasto is the perfect starter, or great for a light meal with prosciutto, cheese, grilled vegetables. Antipasto di mare (with seafood) is adventurous way to start the meal. There is also a fine selection of seafood appetizers available a la carte including prawns with lemon, white wine and garlic sauce; fresh steamed clams in tomato, garlic and herbs; and gamberoni (shrimp) in lemon sauce.

Classic taste
Careful attention is paid to the little details at Federico's. Wholesome, traditional meals are made with passion and given modern refinement. Classics such as the beef tenderloin are popular favourites. A richly flavoured veal marsala is served with seasonal vegetables. Free range chicken is on the menu with portabella mushrooms and prawns. Federico's also has a wide range of fresh seafood on the menu. The international wine list features Italian, French, Californian, Australian and local reds and whites. Home-made desserts will seduce the wined and dined. Tiramisu, chocolate mousse and crème caramel are made in house.

Federico steals the show
There is live music every night to serenade diners towards the dance floor. Owner Federico Fuoco often takes the stage to perform ballads, a true crowd pleaser in a debonair red velvet jacket. "There is no generation gap here," says Federico. People from all generations come to eat and enjoy a true night out on the town in style.
