Mediterranean Style
Reservations are a must at The Edge Bistro’s small, but comfortable 48-seat white tablecloth dining room. Those who do manage to get a table will find a menu filled with approximately 70 per cent Italian dishes and a host of other Mediterranean-style favourites. Perfectly cooked lamb, beef and local salmon are usually available as the kitchen carefully prepares a daily fresh sheet featuring new and innovative appetizer, pasta and main course specials.
Great Wine and Service
Of course, The Edge is the kind of place where no great meal is complete without a great bottle of wine. A comprehensive wine list featuring more than 100 different whites and reds ranging in price from $30 all the way to $250 a bottle is available. Great service is also a part of the experience at The Edge and the staff is always ready with a wine pairing suggestion for any entrée. The restaurant has quickly become such a local favourite; The North Shore News named it the best new restaurant on the North Shore in 2007.
Fine Dining at Bistro Prices
The Edge also features live entertainment, including local jazz bands and flamenco dancers, on special occasions. With excellent service and top quality food, The Edge Bistro promises guests a true fine dining experience with the reasonable prices of a small bistro. It hasn’t taken long for The Edge to earn a reputation as one of North Vancouver’s best restaurants.
