Whistler’s only smokehouse
Dusty’s Bar & BBQ is a smokehouse barbecue restaurant rooted in the traditions of the southern United States. Tasty ribs, pulled pork and brisket are among the smoked features on the menu, served both inside and outside on the extensive patio. With eight beers on tap highlighting a number of local favourites, Dusty’s also makes sure no one goes away thirsty. Insiders know to try Dusty’s famous Bloody Caesar, complete with two spicy beans and a slice of beef jerky.
Comfort and tradition
The laid back atmosphere attracts locals and tourists alike and Dusty’s décor has rustic wood features built for comfort. The restaurant stands on what was once the oldest bar in town and the tradition is reflected in historic photos around the room. There is even a DJ booth built out of a car from the original Creekside Gondola. With over 10 TVs, you can catch the game with a group of friends. Those in for a quick bite can get super fast service at Dusty’s Backside, a self serve café just outside the dining-room.

In the summer, Dusty’s Bar & BBQ hosts the Canadian National BBQ Championships over the August long weekend, featuring more than 100 barbecue hopefuls from around North America. Dusty’s prime Creekside location gets the first sun in the afternoon and the last in the evening for West Coast views. The Pique Magazine named the bar Whistler’s best spot for après in 2006.
