A world of dreams and magic is evoked as you step into Dragonspace. Recalling the fantastical worlds of Tolkien and other fantasy writers, this delightful store will appeal to the imagination of both the young and old. From dragons and dwarves to the dungeons they inhabit, Dragonspace carries a unique array of other-worldly pieces.
Dragons
Certainly the focus is on the store’s namesake. But of course, other fantastic beings are on display as well. Among intricately detailed dragons you can find wizards, witches and faeries in one form or another. From figurines to paintings, many of the pieces at Dragonspace are created by local artists who share a passion for fantasy and magic. Besides figurines and artwork, Dragonspace also carries jewelry, cards, books, calendars, candles, incense and some clothing. Tarot cards and Tarot card readings are available too.

Located in the Creekhouse building adjacent to the Arts Club Theatre, Dragonspace is at the heart of Granville Island. Not only is it close to the public market, Dragonspace is steps away from dozens of other specialty shops. Besides being warm and inviting, a definite gothic feel permeates the store. Many pieces are housed behind glass cases, giving you the sense of being in a gallery. But the whimsical dungeon-like interior décor lets you know that Dragonspace is a place where imagination and fantasy rule.
