The folks at Different Bike like to think they’re different. In a good way. They strive to stand above the other cycling stores by winning customers over with their passion, knowledge and friendly approach. The staff seem to have a knack for welcoming the novice to the professional cyclist with the same amount of enthusiasm and customer service. The keenness to get everyone on a two-wheeled mode of transportation is infectious and you probably won’t leave the shop without being swayed to choose a bike over a car.
From Mountains to City Streets
The key behind Different Bikes is the variety of stock available. Mountain riders, city commuters and even multisport professionals can all find a refuge within the store. For those who respect a healthy lifestyle, you’ll feel at home here and be encouraged to ride safely and more often. Well known Canadian brands like Norco, Rocky Mountain and Kona are all carried at reasonable prices, while specialty names like Knolly, Independent Fab and Wilier round out the rest.
All the Little Things
What makes sales here really different? Once you buy, the store has a fit guarantee and offers free basic tune ups for as long as you own the bike. On top of that, they have a price guarantee on everything in store, so let them know if you see a lower price within Canada and they’ll match or beat it. Parts, accessories and apparel are also well stocked and if they don’t have something specific in stock, it’s probable they can order it in for you. Look out for other locations in North and West Vancouver. The Vancouver location has free parking behind the store just off the alley.
