Demitasse Delights
When it opened in 1986, Demitasse was one of the few places in the city to get espresso. Since then, the space has evolved into a restaurant that just happens to have great coffee. When the corner store close to Demitasse owners’ home in Oak Bay closed down, they decided to take it over. They still have a candy counter intact, but there's also a great coffee bar, shelves full of gourmet feast ingredients and refrigerators stocked with both savoury and sweet treats for grownups, too.

Garden Retreat
The Demitasse has expanded their popular nursery and is now well known as a boutique garden store that also serves a wonderful array of delicious treats. All the food is made in-house, fresh daily and can be enjoyed on their patio, or be taken with you and savoured at home.

Plants “To Go” Too!
Demitasse features changing food items such as spanikopitas, roasted root vegetable salad, eggplant lasagna, and Shepard’s pie. There are also daily pizzas, muffins, croissants and other snack items. Get an order to go, sit at the bar tables inside the store, or take a table outside among the plants in the Demitasse nursery. Do you need an addition to your flower garden or a houseplant to brighten your living room? Take one of those to go, too!
