More than just a hotel, the mountainside Delta Whistler Village Suites combines luxurious chalet living with the carefree travelling experience of a full-service hotel. The perfect retreat after a long day on the nearby slopes of Whistler Blackcomb, the Delta’s suites feature welcoming fireplaces and mountain views. Several rejuvenating hot tubs are scattered about the hotel, ideal for regaining your energy, soaking sore muscles and catching up with old and soon-to-be-new friends.
Authentically alpine, the rustic-yet-elegant accommodations encompass a variety of bedroom and studio schemes. One and two bedroom suites are well-appointed with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplace, balcony and entertainment system. Rooms are designed to feel like a private lodge, with two bedroom suites comfortably sleeping up to 6 people. For those planning to eat “at home”, guests can arrange to have groceries delivered while they’re out enjoying the mountains, and room service operates 24-hours a day.
Guests have exclusive access to an on-site health club, which features a gym, indoor and outdoor pools and sauna and steam rooms. After a quick workout, diners can choose from Milestone’s, where a large and innovative menu is sure to have something for everyone, and Hy’s Steak House, is a long-time and well-respected local favourite. Cocktails can be enjoyed amongst adults at the Palomino Sports Bar, popular with the single scene. Conference facilities include a landscaped atrium, meeting rooms and a cathedral-ceiling ballroom that holds 1,400. Centrally located in Whistler Village, the Suites have easy access to the Whistler Conference Centre, the gondolas of Whistler and Blackcomb and the town’s shops, restaurants and nightlife.
