At this session, ideas will be hammered out: what’s important to have in the tattoo, what the client wants to express, and most importantly, whether the idea will work as a tattoo. Since each tattoo artist specializes in certain styles, the consultation may also determine whether the artist is the right fit for the particular client. When the idea is clear, a tattoo appointment is set – anywhere from a week to a few months of waiting may be required.

Creating Art
When the day arrives, customers can expect a friendly and laidback but professional atmosphere at Craftsman Tattoo. The artists use all disposable needles and materials and each station is sanitized between clients. For the optimal experience, customers should be physically and mentally ready for the sometimes arduous process of getting inked; that is, they should arrive well-fed, hydrated and rested.
