Vancouver offers many great outdoor activities during the summer, and all year round. But there aren't many as iconic as strolling along Kits beach and the surrounding neighbourhood on a warm, clear evening. Of course, walking can work up the appetite, and a meal needs something to wash it down with. Luckily, Corduroy Lounge is in easy walking distance from the water, and has everything you need to make an evening complete.

Organic and Eclectic
Whether you're coming in for an evening with friends or for a quiet night with someone special, the menu at Corduroy Lounge has something to offer. The menu at Corduroy is eclectic and varied, and all items are sourced from local, organic suppliers. Why not try an old classic, chicken wings, or a twist on an old favourite: root veggie fries – a mix of yam, sweet potato and purple potatoes? Mains range from gourmet pizzas, to wild salmon, or vegetarian risotto. House-made deserts are also available, so try to save some room!

Live Entertainment
But Corduroy Lounge is as much about having fun as it is food. Several nights a week, the restaurant is filled with the sounds of live entertainment. Fridays and Saturdays feature open mic nights and DJ's, and come in on Tuesday nights for live music. Sunday nights are comedy night, featuring comedians from home and abroad. Admission is always free, but seating is limited!
