A long-time provider of hip hop and skate clothes and proponent of skate culture in Victoria, Complex Clothing has crossed the Georgia Strait to school Gastown shoppers in the art of “fresh”. When it opened its doors in Victoria in 1998, Complex was one of Vancouver Island’s first retailers dedicated to hip hop couture. The newer Vancouver store reflects this ethos with bright lighting, polished floors and professional, knowledgeable service. Have a question about a brand or style that Complex carries? Chances are the owners/founders can answer 99 percent of your questions. The advantage of having two Complex stores is also clear as you start to shop: if a size or colour isn’t available, they can always ring the Victoria branch for backup.
