Suede and Brocade
There are plenty of other costumes on the racks for those who are not looking to double as the guy with blue suede shoes. If medieval is your style, there are peasant-type dresses fashioned from period materials. If the Victorian Era is more to your liking, try on a rich velvet and brocade dress that characterizes the decadent times. Looking for eye-catching and sexy number? Try one of the sparkly, fringed outfits reminiscent of the fun and feisty Flapper era.
Besides dress-up costumes, Columbia’s top shelf displays the heads of several mascot-type costumes. A snowman, a pink bunny and a chicken are among those to choose from. If you can't find what you're looking for, peruse the book of photographs at the counter to get an idea of the costumes as they should be seen, complete with all the accessories. There's also a small selection of costumes for sale so you can make-believe whenever you feel like it!
