Yee-ha!
Cloverdale is cowboy country every May long weekend, when hundreds of North America's top riders come to town for Canada's third largest rodeo. For over 60 years, the Cloverdale Rodeo has entertained and hosted thousands of spectators and riders to continue this authentic western sporting tradition. The new and improved format of the rodeo will be invitation based, to showcase the top cowgirls and cowboys in the world.

Country Comes to Town
The 20-acre Cloverdale Fairgrounds go completely country for the duration of the Rodeo and Exhibition. In addition to around 500 cowboys vying for top scores in the bull-riding arena, the weekend is chock-full of events for the whole family. Enjoy dances, agriculture and horticulture exhibits; arts and crafts fairs, puppet shows, antique markets and cook-offs, as well. The competition is not just out at the rodeo, but bakers, quilters, artists and more showcase their singular talents.

And When the Cowboys Ride Away…
The Cloverdale Fairground is a buzz of activity year-round. When the rodeo is not in town, concerts, dog shows, cat shows, trade shows and other events fill the calendar. One of the most popular is the flea market, where hundreds of vendors offer their wares. The variety of goods for sale is staggering with everything from plants and paperbacks to nuts and bolts, and including power tools, furniture, building supplies, jewellery and arts and crafts.
