Located on the 42nd floor, this restaurant has been a pivotal feature of the Empire Landmark Hotel in Downtown Vancouver since 1973. With a total of 70, 20-foot-high windows around the perimeter of the room, there is never a bad table in the Cloud 9 Revolving Restaurant. The 360° degree panoramic view gives all guests a clear view of the Harbour, the mountains and the Georgia Straight.
A Sight to See
During the evening, fibre optic lights shine from the ceiling, giving the impression of the night sky. On the upper interior wall, a large mural illustrating the constellations gives the illusion of being out in the open air. The restaurant revolves at a speed of 0.4 km per hour and it takes one hour and 20 minutes to complete one full circle. Join in on the fun for Friday and Saturday night entertainment hours, which feature performances by different guest entertainers each week.

Focusing on regional specialties and signature dishes, the main courses range from vegetable pleasers to rack of lamb and prime rib. The à la carte menu comes with a variety of side items, each one carefully prepared and seasoned to perfection.
