The Cinnamon Bear Bar and Grille is named after a subspecies of black bear that frequents the Whistler area, striking for its reddish-brown fur. Fortunately, bears rarely make their way into the village, but if they did they’d likely head right to the Hilton for breakfast. The daily spread includes sausages, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, pancakes and more.
Bar and Grille
Come lunchtime, Cinnamon Bear transforms into a bar and grill and the locals come out of the woodwork. Hang out for a casual Caesar or beer, or order from the menu, which includes a variety of Western food. Catch their daily drink and food specials: “Massive Monday”, “Phat Tuesday”, “Hops and Scotch Wednesday”, “Tijuana Thursday”, “Martini Friday”, “Red Bull Saturday” and “Summit Sunday”. The Cinnamon Bear is a great après-ski spot or a good place to go for casual drinks or “starter drinks” before a big night on the town. It’s a favourite of locals and travellers alike.
Watch hockey at The Bear
Cinnamon Bear is one of the best places in Whistler to watch a Canucks hockey game. There are TVs throughout the bar, including a giant drop-down screen. They also have beer and nachos specials and have “shoot to win” contests during Canucks Pay Per View games.
