Consistently Good
It’s not always easy to find a place which combines upscale-respectability with a reasonably priced, mouth-watering menu, but the ‘Cactus Club’ offers the people of Vancouver exactly that. And with four locations in downtown alone (not to mention Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, North and West Van) no matter where you are, chances are you’re never far from a ‘Cactus Club’. Despite one or two variations between the various locations, on the whole, if you’ve been to one you’ll know what to expect of the others.
On the Menu
The menus fuse a variety of cuisines suited to Vancouver’s breed of cosmopolitan eaters whose tastes are open to a wide range of foods from around the world. Starters include such dishes as the calamari, broccoli cheese soup and chicken wings, whilst the mains are divided into such categories as, ‘Bowls’ (like the Jambalaya rice or the Kung Pao noodle); ‘Quesadillas’ (like the pesto-cranberry with chicken); ‘On a Bun’ (including the cheddar and bacon burger and the mushroom veggie burger); ‘Fajitas’ (Cajun chicken, Portobello Cajun Vegetable); ‘Pastas’, and a whole range of succulent steaks, all served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Each ‘Cactus Club’ also has a full bar.

When you look at the style of the ‘Cactus Club’, from the menus to the interior designs, it’s no wonder they’ve become popular hangouts amongst the city’s young, upwardly mobile professionals, as well other trendy bar-goers. Each location is polished, sleek, with comfy leather chairs and a distinctly modern feel. Atmospheres tend to be relaxed, sociable and the service is always good.
