Bogart’s Chophouse & Bar has some large shoes to fill. This popular hotspot has taken over the previous location of a well established restaurant in May 2003. Thankfully Bogart has done a great job in their new home much to the delight of critics and foodies. Get ready for some mouthwatering steak and live jazz that is second to none!
Sexy yet Sophisticated
Step inside Bogart’s and you’ll immediately be surrounded by luxury. Stylish candlelit booths, a refurbished oak bar and dark chocolate furniture set the sexy mood. On Friday nights, the house is packed with regulars who come to indulge on tasty tapas. Enjoy fresh shucked oysters, assorted cheeses, and molten baby brie with sweet onion compote. Not to be missed is the baby spinach and jicama salad loaded with grilled pancetta and cremini mushrooms in an orange cilantro dressing.
Sink your Teeth in
This chophouse is a carnivore’s dream! Bogart’s menu features 45 day aged AAA Alberta Angus beef steaks and other meaty delicacies to sink your teeth in. On the medium sized menu enjoy juicy tenderloin in red wine jus and striploin in a peppercorn brandy demi glaze. Pork chops get flavourful in a gorgonzola cream sauce and balsamic reduction. A small handful of pasta, fish, and vegetarian options are delicately prepared by an ultra picky kitchen. Regulars can’t resist the penne rigate loaded with chicken confit and chorizo sausage in a creamy Roma tomato and grana podano sauce. Thursday through Sunday enjoy live jazz music while sipping on an exotic martini or a glass of vino.
