Fresh Fish
When you find a seafood restaurant no more than a stone’s throw away from the waterfront, you can always expect the seafood to be as fresh as it gets, and therefore as tasty as it gets. The only way it could be fresher would be if you got out your fishing rod and headed down to the waterfront yourself. All five locations have a number of different menus, be it the dinner menu, the lunch menu, the deck menu, the pub menu, the kid’s menu or the dessert menu, which gives you an idea of the average size of the restaurants: none are what you’d call ‘small’ or ‘intimate.'

Lunchie Munchies
For lunch, you can order a Chowder or Appetizers to begin with, such as the ‘Crispy Calamari’ or the ‘Sweet Chilli Chicken’; also Salads, many of which are made with seafood, such as the ‘Tiger Shrimp Salad’; Sandwiches, grilled and cold, both served with salad and fries; Brunch; Burger Platters and some healthy and inventive mains, most of which are seafood inspired. The dinner menu features even more premium cuts of meat and seafood dishes from BC and around the world.

Wine and Dine
Being as they are such complementary companions, no good seafood restaurant makes a small matter of the wine menu, and ‘The Boathouse’ is no exception. You’ll find more bottles of local and imported wines than your average wine store, with such a multitude of choices that no matter what you’ve ordered to eat, there’s bound to be a wine to suit.
