A Spa by Sisters
It’s no coincidence that Bloom Essentials Spa is located near the Seaforth Peace Park. For the last 10 years, sisters Nicole and Kimberley have created many relaxing and peaceful moments for Vancouver spa goers. Bloom clients (mainly ladies) can enjoy reiki, massage, reflexology and aromatherapy treatments. For the adventurous there are also Smoothie treatments where clients experience a long body scrub with fruity essential oils to exfoliate away all stress, not to mention smooth out their epithelial. Manis and pedis are given – often customers are encouraged to book with a friend and pack a picnic to enhance the experience. While the spa’s clients are mostly women, men are welcome too.
Private Group Treatments
“Bloom Bashes” can be booked on weekend nights by groups of six or more. During the bash, customers can sample a variety of Bloom treatments as they would at a friend’s place. Plan your Bloom bash well ahead of time though. In the spring and summer, groups are encouraged to book at least four months in advance. If going alone, lap in the luxury of private treatments. A twist on pedicures, individualized foot treatments take place in private rooms where you are simply instructed to sit back and relax on an elevated and cushioned massage table. Your aesthetician works at those feet while they soak away in a soapy bath and pebble filled tub.

Visitors to Bloom can expect luxury on a local scale. In-house body care lines include Body Bloomology – special concoctions in the form of lotion, scrubs and bath/shower gels. Expecting and new moms can also access Bug & Pickle baby care products. Accessories and hair care tools like Sugarlime jewellery, Cherry Blossom headbands and Pureology brand hair serums are also available.
