Where They Came From
Bliss Consignment Bridal store is the brainchild of Jennifer Wilson and Kristina Nylander. After their own experiences of trying to find the perfect wedding dress, they realized the need for better customer service and a friendlier, more inviting shopping experience. A store that would consign wedding dresses once the big day passed was needed. Enter Bliss Consignment Bridal – their shop was conceived and has been thriving in the community ever since. Instead of having to wait weeks or even months for your dress to be shipped, you can browse their collection and buy right off the rack to take home with you that day. They also do free, on-site alterations.
The Concept
Bliss carries a constant stream of quality, used gowns, accessories and decorations. The items are either new or have usually only been worn once, and come in all different styles, sizes and makes. In addition to wedding dresses, the store orders flower girl and first communion dresses from Gemini Kids, a Canadian designer of children’s formal attire. Bliss also rents out crinoline and has accessories such as gorgeous veils and gloves for that extra detail.
