Pick your Seat
Just steps from the base of Whistler Mountain, Black’s Pub has a little something for everyone. The 66-seat dining room on the ground floor serves a full menu of Mediterranean style cuisine, including pastas, steaks, ribs and hand tossed pizzas. Upstairs you’ll find the same menu served in a 90-seat British style pub with 105 different beers available, one of the biggest selections in Whistler. But it’s the 133-seat patio that sets Black’s apart from the crowd. A collection of 27 heaters make sure patio patrons dine in comfort and the fire and ice theme ensures they do it in style. The patio stone is made of volcanic rock and a glass waterfall sits in the centre appearing like a glacier when the snow from the winter season melts around it. The patio is so stunning the designers won an Architects Society of Canada award for their work.

Pub Grub for All
Black’s is a family friendly kind of place where casual is king. Munch on après-ski appies like mussels and clams then dig into some pub grub with Black’s homemade Italian favourites including pastas and pizzas. Classic entrees feature chicken, steak and salmon dishes sure to reenergize you after a day of mountain activities. Whether it’s a big breakfast before the lifts open, a hearty soup to warm you up at lunchtime, a drink after a day on the mountain or a nice dinner with family and friends, you’ll find what you’re after at Black’s Pub.

A Little Piece of History
The décor in the pub upstairs is also something to be seen as it’s made up of recycled materials from bygone eras. From World War II winches to pieces of the materials used to build Vancouver’s Lion’s Gate and Second Narrows bridges, Black’s Pub is littered with little pieces of B.C. history.
