Year round activity
Bill Copeland’s window-lined NHL-size regulation rink is a space filled with natural light and a multi-purpose ice surface. It can be used for ice sports or family skating in the winter and in-line skating and lacrosse in the spring and summer. With retractable seats and removable boards, it can easily be transformed into a convention and trade show space, which can hold as many as 3,500 people. For conventions or large events that require more space, the Burnaby Lake Arena is connected to this facility. A great bonus? The arena is wheelchair accessible and there is ample parking available.
The party people
The Bill Copeland Sports Centre has exceptional acoustic, lighting and sound systems, which makes it the perfect place large events and special ceremonies. If your function is for a smaller group of people, there are meeting rooms available to accommodate 500 or less. Again, the smaller meeting rooms come fully equipped for your meeting or party needs. Additionally, if catering services are required, the City of Burnaby Food Service Division can provide a full catering staff.
