Rent It!
For those outdoor lovers, Vancouver is arguably one of the best places on the globe for cycling. The folks at Bikes ‘N Blades Rental store make it easy to rent a bike quickly and efficiently before heading out into the gorgeous waterfront setting. The store location is perfectly chosen, as it sits on the doorstep of Stanley Park, the city’s amazing green space that makes up the centre of the seawall. This is where you can ride your bike around to soak in the mountain views and waterfront setting.

A Good Deal
One of the best-priced bike rental shops on Georgia Street, rates here are very reasonable. Hourly prices border on $5 for a two-hour minimum rental, and all day rentals don’t go much over $20. If you get out on the bike path and decide to head out for lunch or get caught up in the scenery, the shop will just charge you the extra hours you have the bike out, not exceeding the daily rate. Ask them about getting equipped with a helmet, as BC law requires you to wear one.

Tell Your Friends
On a bright, sunny day, bikes can be hard to come by. It seems that everyone living in and visiting Vancouver has the same idea of getting out on the seawall. The store here, though, has a large inventory of high quality bikes, so they’re almost never out of stock. Also of repute is the great shape the bikes are in, that almost look new even after many rentals year round. For children, there are also seats and trailers to hook up to your bike. For those who would rather use two feet, rollerblades can also be rented and taken along the seawall. Snowboards are also available if you’re heading up to one of the nearby mountains.
