The Best Western Poco Inn & Suites is an attractive spot for visiting golfers, as it’s surrounded by no less than five of the region’s best courses. It’s also only 30 minutes’ drive from downtown Vancouver so visiting the city for the nightlife is easily accomplished. There are plenty of other attractions nearby as well, including the Vancouver Aquarium, the Royal City Star Riverboat Casino, and world-class shopping and parks.

Brightly decorated and economical standard rooms have all the amenities leisure travellers require – cable TV, in-room movies, high-speed Internet connection, dataports, iron and ironing board, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, fridge and microwave. A queen bed or two queens, or a king bed with an additional double sleeper sofa are available. Children under 12 stay free with an adult and pets may be accepted at the manager’s discretion – mainly small animals. Executive rooms are designed with corporate guests’ needs in mind – the hotel describes it as your “office on the road”, equipped with a king bed, office workstation, dataports, and two telephones. Rooms are divided between two wings – the east wing rooms have exterior access with parking at your door, and the west wing, housing the executive rooms, has interior corridors.
Transport Yourself
For fun, choose one of the Poco Inn’s theme rooms and imagine yourself far away. The Romeo & Juliet Castle Room has a four-poster bed and a heart-shaped Jacuzzi – Juliet certainly didn’t enjoy that luxury! The Deserted Island Room gives the illusion of sleeping in a boat under the stars. And, the Back to the 50s Room has a heart-shaped bed and vintage juke box. You could be dancing all night!
