Featuring link-style holes guarded by forest lakes and elevated tees, the course is open year-round for golfers of all levels. Belmont was designed to be challenging to both amateurs and pros alike and incorporates water and sand throughout. The course’s signature hole is the Par 3 Number 14, which begins on an elevated tee and ends with a green surrounded by water 217 yards away.
Going green
Golfers get the ultimate “green” experience at Belmont, as the course is a member of the Salmon River Watershed Management Partnership. Belmont has addressed the need to balance and co-exist with the environment by developing a naturalization plan as part of a series of “green” management initiatives. This involves developing natural grassland areas by decreasing the total area being mowed, designating areas to establish wildflower gardens and conserving water. Belmont also provides nesting sites for birds and bats.
The ultimate experience
The course is a great place to host corporate and private tournaments and a team of CPGA professionals is available to provide lessons to golfers of all levels. The lounge, patio, dining room and banquet rooms complete the ultimate golf experience at Belmont.
