The Shop
The vision for the Bellevue Wine Company included not only a wine shop that specialized in BC wines and icewines, but also a gathering place where customers can freely explore and learn about the offerings BC’s best wineries. This dream came true in fall 2003 and the company now focuses on local wines that they believe are overlooked and under-appreciated. Approximately 75 BC wineries are showcased within one of city's largest selections of wines, at unrivalled prices. The store can also boast about being the best presentations of icewines in the country.
A Growing Selection
You’ll find just about any type of wine to suit your tastes, from Cabernet and Chardonnay to sparkling wine and Sauvignon Blanc. Prices vary, of course, but Bellevue carries many moderately priced brands. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are all wine lovers who keep track of their favourites. They always have something new to suggest.
More Than Wine
Whether you are an amateur or connoisseur, delectable gift baskets are made especially for wine lovers of all tastes. Gift baskets include items such as Italian crystal decanters, sets of German crystal stemware, hand-made French corkscrews, and local arts and craft products. If you’re interested in purchasing or commissioning some artwork, items sold by local artists include wine bottle mosaics and one-of-a-kind painted objects such as handbags and antiques. Bellevue Wine Company also hosts special events; the bottle-lined shop is an ideal venue for a private party or tasting.
