A Room with a View
Built in 1904, the Bedford House still retains much of its character thanks to carefully orchestrated renovations and a magnificent view of the lush garden. On the appetizer menu discover artichoke hearts with mandarin oranges and caramelized pecans drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette. Regulars can’t get enough of the triple cream brie with roasted garlic and sun dried cranberries, or the homemade lobster bisque. Escargots served in a vermouth-cream reduction with thyme along with spinach salad topped with crisp pancetta and pine nuts complete a fantastic starters menu.
Divine Dishes
It is all about artful presentation at this restaurant. Each dish arrives out of the kitchen resembling a mini masterpiece almost too pretty to devour. Everything here is made from scratch using the finest products around. You can practically taste the freshness in each bite! On the entrée menu, savour delicately prepared schnitzels stuffed with ham and cheese, or topped with a creamy mushroom sauce. Not to be missed is the slow roasted Long Island duck served on candied braised red cabbage with a maple cranberry glaze. Maple-chili cured salmon topped with pineapple-tomato relish is simply divine. Mouthwatering New Zealand rack of lamb, juicy 16 oz New York steaks, and a handful of fresh seafood dishes round out the menu.
