If you were to go to the south end of Cook Street or take a short walk from the historic Beacon Hill Park, you’d come upon a charming neighbourhood known as Cook Street Village. In the heart of this lively area stands the very popular neighbourhood hangout, The Beagle Pub. Since 2001, the Beagle has been a hotspot for locals and visitors alike.
Enjoy this hot spot for fun and games.
Open seven days a week, this warm and welcoming pub is furnished with plenty of seating inside and plenty of televisions to watch the latest sporting event. Challenge your friends to shoot a game of pool or throw some darts. Challenge yourself with the selection of electronic games. In good weather, take a seat on the heated patio and people watch as the residents of the village wander by.
Eat and drink every day of the week
The menu includes many pub favourites including the Beagle wings also known as chicken wings. For a hearty meal try the steak sandwich or the Queen Charlotte fish and chips. On the lighter side but still just as tasty is the candied pecan and apple salad. Every day brings a new drink special. On Mondays enjoy a pint of Kokanne or Alexander Keith’s India pale ale or drop in for Wine 'O Wednesdays where any bottle of wine is only $5.00 above cost. Fridays is a great day to sample the Beagle Cosmo Martini, a pleasing mixture of vodka, Triple Sec, cranberry and lime juice or try a double Caesar on Sundays.
