An internationally recognized Edwardian retreat in the heart of Victoria, the Beaconsfield is a 1905 heritage property lovingly restored with amazing attention paid to detail. It fully deserves its Canada Select 5 Star Rating and "Best International Bed and Breakfast" listing in Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report.
Beaconsfield Suite
Prepare to be blown away by the best room in the house. The Beaconsfield's signature suite is a third floor attic retreat you will have all to yourself, and features an exquisite antique Queen four-poster canopied bed, a jetted tub to relax in, a writing desk, and a sublime skylight. You can sink into a wonderful down-filled loveseat in front of a wood-burning fireplace, or lounge on the cozy, chintz-covered window seat and bask in the sunlight streaming in through the window.
In the Library...
Savour high tea or sip a fine evening sherry in front of the two gorgeous fireplaces and browse through over a hundred vintage books or just sit back and admire the Edwardian decor of the Beaconsfield common areas.
In the Garden...
Take a delightful wander through the well-kept gardens of the Beaconsfield, which feature little paths lined with sweet-smelling roses, tulips, split-leaf maples, and a variety of colourful shrubbery: a perfect after-breakfast walk.
