Over a Half Century of Success
B2 Shoes is an offshoot of Brown’s shoes, a Canadian shoe seller since 1940. Created to appeal to a younger, more trend-conscious crowd, B2 shoes features some of today’s hottest brands, as well as in-house labels. When Brown’s first opened in the 1940s, it was one of the first Canadian shoe stores to make connections with Italian designers such as Salvatore Ferragamo. Brown’s was even the first retailer located outside of Italy to win the country’s prestigious Micam award for craftsmanship and success in promoting Italian footwear.
Family Business
The success of Vancouver’s two B2 stores plus 30 locations across Canada hinges on the company’s strong family focused and fashion forward business model. Family culture is strong at B2 and Brown’s. The owners of Brown’s encourage family and friends to work in their stores in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal to create a tight knit group of knowledgeable shoe sellers.

Today’s hottest brands can be purchased at B2. From Mui Mui boots to Royal Elastics sneaks to Chinese Laundry ballet flats, both international and home-grown brands are for sale. B2 has a number of its own lines exclusive to the store: Brown’s Couture, Mimosa and Luca de Forte. Ladies’ sizes four through 12 are available in many styles. Mens’ sizes six through 14 are for sale too.
