The Arts Club Theatre professional theatre company stages productions ranging from modern Canadian drama to classic comedies. Add in a romance or two, some musical entertainment or a provocative exploration of cultural history, and it's easy to see why the Arts Club is one of Vancouver's favourite theatre venues. The city's top stage performers make regular appearances, as do many well-known out-of-town guest performers.
Beyond the Boards
In addition to regular performances throughout the company's play season, the Arts Club also offers special student matinee performances. Just the thing to groom the theatregoers of tomorrow. They also offer "talk back" matinees, where the audience has the opportunity to discover the secrets of a successful production through informal discussions and question-and-answer periods with the cast and crew following the show. Theatre tours, including a glimpse backstage, are also available.
Lecture Series
Throughout the season, the Arts Club also hosts a series of Monday evening lectures, complete with light dinners and a play. Call the box office for details.
