You’ll Never Leave Hungry
Probably the most noted thing about Aristos Greek Taverna is the large portions served to lucky, hungry diners. Whether you order lunch, dinner or just appies, be prepared to leave with a full doggy bag stuffed for a complete meal later. Although there isn’t usually room for dessert, there are a few traditional choices on the menu that are worth trying – or taking home.

Authentic Greek Cuisine
Definitely the star of the menu is the lamb, which is prepared to simply melt in your mouth. It is often on dinner specials list if you eat in, and is among the most-ordered meal. Take out is also a popular option, as residents can place their order by phone and pick it up a mere 20 minutes later. In an area not heavily populated with dining options, this choice seems to be well-liked by the locals. Other menu treats that deserve mention are the moussaka, taramasalata, kalamari, souvlaki, meat skewers and Greek salad. A full wine list and alcohol menu is also available to pair your meal choice with a nice drink that complements its flavours.

Get to North Vancouver
Parking here can be a problem, so the safest bet is to leave your vehicle at Lynn Valley Mall across the street and walk over. The restaurant itself is fairly small and gets crowded on weekend nights. For groups and parties, make sure to make a reservation in advance. Although there isn’t a kid’s menu specifically, all the dishes are child-friendly and are often very popular with families. On those hot summer nights, or anytime when it isn’t raining and the weather isn’t cold, eating out on the patio is popular, where you can tether up your dog or watch the people strolling past.
